Lessons From The Super Coaches - Our Mums

Lessons From The Super Coaches - Our Mums

With Mother's Day nearly here, there's no better time to stop and show our gratitude to the best coaches we know - our Mums.

So, we asked some of the BSc Brand Ambassadors to share 1 lesson taught to them by their Mum.

What would you add to this list? Please join the conversation on socials and share your Mum's lesson tagging us.

We'll choose our three favourite stories and send out a special thank-you gift in honor of Mother's Day.

To kick things off, here's what BSc Brand Ambassador Hannah Blair, aka The Stretching Lady, had to say about the lesson her Mum taught her:

Hannah Blair - The Stretching Lady

"Something that my Mum taught me is to truly stand up for things I believe in, not be quiet and not to feel ashamed when there is something that I feel really passionate about."

A powerful message about the importance of standing up for our beliefs and passions. By standing up for ourselves and what we believe in, we can gain confidence and achieve our dreams. It's a great reminder to never be afraid to speak up and pursue what we're passionate about.

Next up, we have Jaiden Fountain sharing his lesson from Mum:

Jaiden Fountain - Owner of Zero Performance

"You'll never have it all figured out but no one ever does."

A reassuring reminder that it's okay not to have all the answers or to know everything. It can be easy to feel overwhelmed or like we're falling behind if we don't have all the answers. By embracing the idea that we don't need to have it all figured out, we can relieve some of the pressure we put on ourselves and instead focus on taking small steps forward.

Athena Martinez - Body Science Athlete

"Never give up. When one door closes, another opens. Always move forward!"

This is a great reminder of the importance of perseverance and a positive attitude in achieving our goals. It acknowledges that setbacks and obstacles will arise, but that we should keep pushing forward and seeking new opportunities.

It's a message that can apply to many areas of life, whether in sports, business, relationships, or personal growth. By staying resilient and focused on our goals, we can overcome challenges and come out stronger on the other side.

Here is Kirsty Stewart, Body Science Athlete, sharing the lesson her mother taught her:

Kirsty Stewart - Faith Fuelled Fitness

"Kindness cost's you nothing, be kind to everyone that you meet and always approach every situation with kindness and love."

It's a simple but powerful lesson that can have a profound impact on our lives and the lives of those around us. By approaching every situation with kindness and love, we can create a more positive and supportive community, whether in our personal or professional lives.
