BSc Supports Chris Walker in His 2,000km Journey

This month, BSc is supporting Chris Walker in his epic journey from Cairns to the Gold Coast. On April 26 Chris will set off from Cairns, walking to the Gold Coast (stopping at Suncorp Stadium for the State of Origin game two). Chris says “walking from Cairns to the Gold Coast is a pretty mean feat, I’ll be walking just over 2.5 million steps, just under 2,000 kilometres, is a challenge that I’m going to take on wholeheartedly”. The walk is expected to take approximately 66 days to complete. Chris is supporting partner charities Beyond Blue, Rize Up, the Alcohol and Drug Foundation and Global Awakening.
Chris has seen the effects that Covid-19 had on many communities from mental health to drug and alcohol through to domestic violence and he knows his partner charities have stepped up to support those in need, this is his way of giving back to those charities who do so much.
