This month, BSc is contributing to raising awareness proudly supporting the Gold Coast Beach Parade. The parade celebrates Queensland’s healthy lifestyle, famous beaches and beach culture. The Gold Coast is home to BSc and where it all began over 21 years ago so it is only fitting that we pay tribute to our home!
The parade is a new world record attempt for the greatest number of people (men, woman and children) in koala ear visors involved in a beach parade, this is an attempt to shine a spotlight on and support the amazing efforts of the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital and saving our city’s Koalas.
If you would like to join the parade there is no fee to enter, but a nominated donation of $25 per person for an individual entry, $80 donation for a family (up to 4) and $200 donation for a company/sporting club/school (up to 10) on registration goes directly into the charity’s trust fund.
