The ideologies of discipline, performance and self improvement that make up the sport and fitness industry are the key factors why Selasi says he chose to go down the path of being professional athlete and an exercise scientist.
As a professional Rugby League player Selasi comprehensively sought out the advice of professionals in the fitness industry to help improve his performance. A chance meeting with Greg Young (BSc co-founder) highlighted BSc’s commitment to scientifically researching and educating the sports community on ways to improve sports performance, a strong passion of Selasi’s.
This meeting led to Selasi to not only become a big fan of BSc’s supplements and products, but further facilitated his interest in the sporting industry leading to a completion of a dual degree in a bachelor of Exercise Science and Business (sports management).
In his short period of time as an exercise scientist at BSc Selasi has had several positive relationships and results with a wide host of professional athletes and teams. Selasi’s strong foundation in research and commitment to sports performance integrated with BSc’s in-house analysis of elite athletes’ has formed a winning combination in the continual advancement in the sport science industry.
