About LipoBurn Hardcore

LIPOBURN HARDCORE

The ultimate cause of obesity is an imbalance between energy intake (what we eat) and energy expenditure (what we burn off). The use of natural herbal nutrients to enhance energy expenditure, increase fat oxidation and stimulate thermogenesis has been attracting a lot of interest

Lipoburn Hardcore has been designed to help you reach your weight loss goals. Of course it has to be taken in conjunction with a healthy diet and regular exercise, there’s no such thing as a wonder pill!  But it will help give you that little ‘boost’ you need to lose the weight and keep it off. All of the ingredients in Lipoburn Hardcore are research-backed and of the highest quality.

Green tea – an amazing ingredient

Green tea has been the subject of intensive scientific research. It has been shown to possess outstanding antioxidant properties, is a natural source of caffeine, can act as a stimulant, has a positive effect on metabolism and is a valuable product to aid weight loss. This is why we chose it to be the key ingredient in our Lipoburn Hardcore formula. Green tea extracts, specifically those containing a high proportion of Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) – like the one we use in Lipoburn hardcore - have been shown in clinical studies to boost ‘energy expenditure’ (what we burn off in a day) and enhance ‘fat oxidation’ (or fat burning). Your recommended daily intake of Lipoburn Hardcore provides you with 540mg of catechins, of which 270mg is Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). Scientists regard EGCG as the most significant, pharmacologically active component in green tea.

Here are details of a few clinical trials that have been conducted on Green tea.

  • A 12 week study involving 12 men aged 27-48 years. Subjects were given either a high dose of green tea catechins (593mg per day) or a low dose (78mg per day) (23). The results of this study (Refer figure 1 below) demonstrate that ingesting a high dose of green tea catechins for 12 weeks may increase your fat burning capacity by as much as 31%! Now you’d have to happy about that!

  • A 12 week multi-center open study (uncontrolled) involving 70 moderately obese subjects aged 20-69 years. Subjects were given green tea extract equiv. to 375mg catechins, of which 270mg was EGCG. In this study subjects mean body weight decreased by 4.6% and waist circumference decreased by 4.5%.  (9)

  • A 6 week double blind, placebo controlled, randomized trial involving 10 young lean to mildly obese men (15). Each subject was randomly assigned to receive 1 of the following daily doses: a) Green tea extract containing 375mg catechins, of which 270mg was EGCG, and 150mg caffeine (N.B. this same dose is provided in Lipoburn Hardcore). b) 150mg caffeine, or c) Placebo. Results found that the contribution of fat oxidation to 24 hr energy expenditure was ‘significantly higher’ during treatment with the green tea extract - 42% for people taking the green tea extract compared with 32% for people taking the placebo. That’s a 24% increase in fat burning capacity. Pretty impressive!  Results of this study also found that total 24 hour energy expenditure was ‘significantly higher’ during treatment with Green tea extract. On average, subjects taking the green tea extract burned an additional 329kj in 24 hours. This increase in 24 hour energy expenditure essentially reflects green teas stimulatory effect on thermogenesis.

Now when you combine Guarana with the green tea like we have in our Lipoburn Hardcore formula, things get even better!

  • Based on a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind, cross over study involving 14 men aged 20-50 years (4). Results demonstrated that subjects who took Guarana, containing an equivalent of 600mg of caffeine per day similar dosage as is in Lipoburn Hardcore, and 270mg of EGCG from Green tea, increased their energy expenditure by 8%, compared with those taking the placebo. Or, to present this in another way, subjects taking green tea in combination with Guarana burned an additional 750kj in 24 hours.

Our Lipoburn Hardcore is packed with other ingredients on which we have hard evidence.  In fact, with all the evidence we have to support the ingredients in our formulation, we are quietly confident that our Lipoburn Hardcore is the most comprehensive weight loss formulas on the market. If you would like to read more scientific information regarding our formulation please refer to our Lipoburn Hardcore Claim Substantiation bibliography.

And remember, whatever your weight loss goal, Lipoburn Hardcore has been specifically designed to help you get there!
