Iron – essential to the formation of red blood cells and transportation of oxygen in the blood. Iron is essential for oxygen transport. Low iron levels can leave you feeling tired and run down. Required for storage of oxygen within the muscle cell. Required for production of energy in the body.
Iodine – required for normal function of the thyroid gland.
Zinc – essential for growth and repair of tissue. Involved in formation of collagen, which is necessary for wound healing Helps maintain healthy immune function.
Copper – Involved in haemoglobin and collagen formation. Aids the transport of iron in the blood
