Tone Up

While making the effort to have toned muscles by resistance (weight training) you will naturally create stronger muscles. A stonger, more muscular body is firmer, looks better and helps us to avoid potentially debilitating bone and joint injuries. If this does not yet encourage you to start, resistence training exercise can increase your lean body mass (the non-fat parts of your body), which raises your metabolic rate, therfore helping you with your weight management goals.

Muscle Fact: A kilo of muscle will burn 50 to 100 calories a day at rest.
Fat Fact: A kilo of fat will use up only about 5 to 7 calories a day.

So, toning up refers to two specific goals, build Muscle & fat loss. In order to achieve these goals a complete approach is always recommended for maximum sustainable results.
