Scientists have learned that three linked essential amino acids Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine, called branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) serve as a critical source of muscle energy as well as nutrition for muscle repair. In fact, about 1/3 of the proteins which make up muscles are themselves "constructed" of these BCAAs. BCAAs are metabolised in the actual muscle cells and used as an energy source by working muscles .
MELIBOLTM BCAA 2200 is designed to provide nutritional support for athletic performance with the precise 2:1:1 ratio of branch chain amino acids. The 2:1:1 ratio has been formulated to help decrease protein breakdown and encourage protein conservation and synthesis during times of increased physiological stress.
A sufficient supply of these essential BCAA's is needed to aid muscle energy supply, help muscle recovery and repair. MELIBOLTM BCAA 2200 is designed to aid athletic endurance and muscle building.
