“It’s great to be involved with an Australian company such as Body Science who develop and manufacture their products locally and to such a high standard..
“I began using the BSc products during my off-season training schedule in Australia and have been more than happy to have gained support from them as I chase a third World Superbike title. I’ve used a good cross section of the product range such as the gels, nutritional bars, the new Fuel Advanced Sports Drink and protein shakes each of which has worked well for me during training and now racing.
“I’m wearing the compression wear during training, both at the gym and when I’m out testing on the bike. One of the areas where I’ve found it to work the best is in the recovery phase after heavy training sessions where I’ve been wearing it overnight and feel refreshed and ready to go again the following day. The World Superbike Championship has a heavy practice and qualifying schedule prior to race day which generally sees us competing in two 45-minute races with just over an hours break between them You definitely need to be fully recovered from the first race to be able to back up and perform at your best for the second.
“I’ve been working closely with Kao Ramirez who has been my personal trainer down in Wollongong when I’m here for the Xmas break. He has had a close look at all of the nutritional supplements and has made a selection that best suits the requirement we need for our sport. He has seen a change in the way my body is able to continue at high levels of activity and then how quickly I’ve been able to recover from a hard session. He’s been involved in the fitness industry for over 30 years and is extremely happy with the BSc range and fully endorses them as well.
“With BSc I can feel that I am ready to work even harder to achieve more race wins and a third World title.
