 Melissa Godfrey gave it to the world when she competed in her first Kick Boxing world championships this week in Russia.
"Melissa was such a good athlete that is was only nautral that we sponsor her so early in her career." Greg Young, from Body Science said.
Melissa competed in the 63-66.5kg division. The world championships ran over 10 days from the 1st to 10th September.
"Well the competition is over and I have made my way out of Russia safe and sound." Melissa said.
"My last fight I fought a girl from Finland who has had 25fights, It was the hardest fight I have done, it went the full 4 rounds, in which I won it in the last round coming home nice and strong." Melissa exclaimed.
Melissa explained how her dream had come true, "So I am now th World Amatuer champ for the 61- 63.5kg weight division. Unbelievable!"
Melissa will be back in Australia after 5 days rest and recovery, although she says with a smile. "I have no injuries!".
