BSc’s sole Tasmanian R&D Team Member, Laura Clements, may not have made it to the world body building stage (yet), but the 30-year-old PR consultant will still be “present”
at the 2003 NABBA and WFF World Championships in Scotland and Germany in June.
Laura, who competes in NABBA’s Figure Class Two (under 163cm), features on the NABBA/WFF CD that will be distributed by the federation’s Australian President, Graeme Lancefield, to all other world presidents (about 50) who attend this year’s World Championships in Aberdeen, Scotland and Northeim, Germany, during June.
The CD aims to entice body builders and figure shapers from throughout the world to the Gold Coast for the 2004 World Championships on 12 June.
The event is expected to attract at least 500 of the world’s best bodies.
In addition to featuring on the CD, Laura is a member of the NABBA national administration as the NABBA Tasmania representative and National PR Director. In this latter role, she is involved in promoting the World Championship both in Australia and overseas.
Laura’s goal is to qualify for the 2004 Worlds, and she took a step closer to that recently by taking out the Ms Victoria Figure Class Two Title, then placing third in the same division at the Southern Hemisphere Championship in Queensland.
Laura has been a member of the BSc Team since August 2002. She attributes her recent success and significant improvements to her physique and health to the excellent products and the ongoing support she receives from Body Science.
