Adam Lucas continued his good form at the FINA World Cup
By: Stephen J Thomas

24-01-2005
Adam Lucas continued his good form at the FINA World Cup meet in Berlin over the weekend. The BSc sponsored swimmer took the silver medal in the 400m individual medley, setting another personal best of 4:08.74 taking a huge 1.45 seconds off the time he set just a few days ago in Stockholm. This performance lifted the Perth-based 21-year-old to second on the Australian all-time list, behind former world record-holder Matt Dunn (AR: 4:04.24). Lucas also set another PB in the 100IM clocking 54.95 to finish fifth in the final behind Olympic gold medallist South African Ryk Neethling who set a world record 52.11 in the race.
