BODY FOR WOMEN A HUGE HIT AT ROSEMOUNT AUSTRALIA FASHION WEEK
Posted May 05, 2010
Sydney designer Rachel Gilbert brought seductive shapes, no-holds-barred glamour, and a whole lot of drama to the RAFW runway yesterday, and Body for Women was the nutritious snack of choice for the models and guests.
With high-profile stars seated on the front row of the Sydney designer’s debut show, including model Nikki Phillips, media personality Kate Waterhouse, Underbelly’s Peter Scarf and Harpers Bazaar fashion director Christine Centenera, Rachel sent an array of edgy models down the runway in opulent evening gowns crafted from all shades of pastel and dark shades.
Over 400 guests gathered at the Overseas Passenger Terminal to catch the show, and Rachel worked with the best in the business on the parade - Napoleon Perdis himself created looks for the opening and closing models before taking his seat on the front row, and indigenous model Samantha Harris and internationally renowned Tallulah Morton were stars of the parade.
As a proud supporter of the runway show, we included Body for Women protein powders and a handy shaker in each of the VIP goody bags – with the contents rumoured to be worth nearly $400 and the most extravagant freebies at this year’s RAFW. And with four more days of shows to go, we’re sure the fashion pack will be filling up on their Body shakes throughout the week!
